Mountaineer Ridge puts you on App State's south side. App State athletics facilities are your immediate neighbors — Sywassink-Lloyd Family Stadium and the Randy Marion Track are steps away. Holmes Convocation Center, Kidd Brewer Stadium, the Quinn and Student Recreation Centers are all a short ride up Blowing Rock Road, with the Beaver College of Health Sciences an easy run east on State Farm Road. Is this App State housing?
We are AppState-affiliated housing, which means you’ll get the same, reliable and high-quality experience you’ve come to expect, backed by Appalachian State University.
What is included in my rent?
Your rent is all-inclusive. Meaning, just one easy monthly payment to cover your water, electricity, and internet.
Parking is not included, and each leaseholder must buy an App State parking permit.
What parking is available?
One parking space per resident, first-come, first-served, after purchase of an App State parking permit.
When can I take a tour?

Can I pick my roommates?
Yes! Just request each other during the application process and be sure you both complete your applications. Not sure who you’d like to live with?
